The food is amazing. You get a good portion. One of these meals can feed 2 people. I got the oxtail with rice and I got the curry chicken with rice. Me and my family split it.

The best Jamaican food on the Jersey Shore! It’s a hidden gem. Norah and her family are the most welcoming and wonderful people you’ll come across to. Food is made FRESH and portions are very generous. The reggae music sets a comforting and chill vibe. I come here with my buddies every week and it’s our favorite spot to hang out and eat after a long day. I love you guys! Thank you so much.

My fiance took me here on a whim stating this was the best spot for authentic Jamaican food, it was delicious! Really tasted a lot like my Cuban roots believe it or not. Guess it’s a Caribbean thing! Nora was so graceful as soon as we walked through the door. She treats you like family as soon as you walk through the door. The art work and colors in here make you forget we are in Jersey. So happy I was able to experience this. Thank you!

To all you locals, you are so blessed to have Norah as a neighbor. Such a beautiful person and a wonderful soul. I haven't had delicious homemade island food like that since we were able to travel. I can't wait to go back. I'm glad we bought a lot of food. We will have leftovers for two more days. Everything we purchased was just fantastic the stewed beef, the jerk pork and the rice and peas... Always Staples when I'm down in the islands. Norah's did not disappoint by any stretch. As a matter of fact, there's a flavor in there that just makes hers over the top. Maybe it's love? Don't be afraid of anything on the menu, if there's something you haven't had, give it a shot. I don't think there's any way that something out of her kitchen could disappoint. Make sure if it's a banana bread day you take advantage.. her homemade rum cake is over the top and her homemade ginger beer is spicy and delicious. Come the nicer weather I will be buying that by the bucket load... God bless you Norah! I can't wait to be back! -Mike

Norah Irises Jamaican is a gem in Long Branch! The food is absolutely delicious, and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. They took the time to explain the dishes, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. Their jerk chicken with cabbage and peas is hands down my favorite—perfectly seasoned, tender, and bursting with authentic Jamaican flavor. If you're looking for amazing Caribbean food with top-notch service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Love this place! I came here with some friends and the staff was so nice and friendly. The food was awesome, I had the tilapia best fish I've ever had. My friends raved about their dishes as well- ox tails

I order from this restaurant and the experience was amazing. The lady is so sweet and helpful. They accept both cash and card. Their Ox tail is amazing, so juicy and flavorful. Their plantains are so delicious too. Everything is good. Authentic Jamaican food tastes like homemade.

This is a great place to eat, and gluten sensitive safe! The owner is a sweet lady who assured us that there is no flour used in her kitchen at all. When we arrived, she was recovering from surgery and had to run the entire restaurant by herself (no staff). It didn't dampen her demeanor. It's as if she's YOUR mother - very sweet, very patient, and the cooking is GREAT. We ordered the ox tail (popular, it seems, as everyone after us ordered this as well), the jerk chicken, and a side of plantains. The jerk chicken did not disappoint. It's as good as any I've had in the Caribbean. She double checked my spice tolerance and produced a flavor explosion that I'm still thinking about hours later. Definitely check this place out!
